Our Volunteers

Do you want to invest a morning into being part of a feel-good race atmosphere, filled with high-fives and encouragement?

Our volunteers are the people who make the Central Coast Triathlon Club races happen. From setup to marshalling, there is a role that almost anyone can do! Volunteers have the best vantage points on course, so it’s an ideal job for supportive family and friends.

Race volunteer roles

Course Marshals

When you sign up as a course marshal volunteer the race director assigns specific positions on the race day according to experience and ability.

Course marshals are placed at specific locations throughout the junior and adult race course. You’re given full instructions of your role by the race director, who is contactable throughout the race to answer any questions. Each position involves giving basic instructions and monitoring competitor safety.

We value course marshal volunteers and reward them with one free race entry at the next CCTRI race! Look out on social media for the volunteer sign-up sheet in the days prior to the race or volunteer NOW!

Race setup and pack-up

Many hands make light work! We encourage all participants, young and old to help with setup and pack-up on race day. No need to sign-up, just turn up at the CCTRI trailer and ask how you can help.

Registration and Timing

These roles require specific training. We welcome and appreciate those who are willing to learn about the race timing and participant registration system. Speak to those at the registration desk on race day or contact the race registrar for more details.
